1/3 of Colombia's budget goes to education

Day 1 Bogota! Yannalis gives us an overview of educational policy and goals. Yannalis was our host teacher in Bogota and the rep for all the host teachers of the regions we would be visiting.

Something like 1/3 of the country’s budget goes to educating its people!!

What if we did that at home? At Unitec #yosoyunitec the local university/college I was so surprised that part of their mandatory curriculum includes courses of creating an engaged ethical citizenry who are good people! They took as much pride in their art program ( 3 of their students are represented at the Canes film festival this yr) as their engineering program! I was floored! #tgccolombia2018 #tgcgoglobal
