This young man captured our hearts with his passion and love for his country, rich cultures and of course food! Each dish had history, each fruit a people. The movement of the people, the integration of cultures, were in their bodies, through dance, music, food. This was the beginning of my journey. Each person I met , was equally compelling. Fierce with passion about the cultures that comprised them, with an unwavering love for their Country and a intrinsic drive to push towards a positive future for the people of Colombia.
He represented everything that is good and hopeful in this world.
