the gift of culture

Our week in Bogota ended with an amazing gift of live music, dance lessons, dance performers, local food, and us dancing! And although this sounds like ok, fun, it was sooo much more. it came from a place in the heart, it was pure with the wish of hope that the world recognises that Colombia is so much more than it politics , its civil trifle, its war on drugs. it was a wish that we SEE these people, SEE their beauty and complexity and feel the Happiness that permeates it all. I felt right then that that is where I was always supposed to be!
